Display LUT
Display LUT applies a lookup table to the monitor image. The tool is labeled LUT in CineMon. Use it to preview a log-to-display transform or a creative look. Import and manage your LUTs in the LUTs organizer, and see Color management for how the LUT fits into the processing chain.
Available with the CineMon PRO Video Monitoring Pack or a CineMon PRO Pass subscription.
A show LUT previews a production’s intended grade while you monitor the camera image.
Basic use
Long-press the LUT button in the Assist Toolbar to open or close its options drawer. On Mac, you can also select the chevron beside the button. Select the tool button to turn the effect on or off.
- Choose an imported LUT from LUT Menu.
- If you have several LUTs, use Previous / Next to compare their effect on the image.
